Member Event ~ Wine Club Only Small Lot Preview & Barrel Tasting

Join us for a Special Preview of our latest small lot blend, “2016 SUKY’S SYRAH, LIVERMORE VALLEY”. This blend is 50/50 Estate Syrah & Petite Sirah, a gorgeous balanced wine with deep dark cherry, pepper & spicy oak notes. A wine that can hold up to spicy foods, steak and lamb. It’s priced at $42, retail before wine club discounts.

We will also have the Spring Release (2016 Dante’s Inferno, 2016 Zinfandel & Two Cellar Rats VI) and our new white wines & Rose’ of Zinfandel available for tasting. If you haven’t had a chance to pick up your Spring Release, this is another excellent opportunity to do so.

Dante will be on site barrel tasting & we will have some small bites to enjoy. We’d love to see you, whether you are just stopping in before dinner or plan to hang out!

This is a complimentary event for wine club members (2 people). Guests are welcome for $10 per person (pay at the door, no prepayment necessary).

If you know us, you know we like to name our blends after family, and that includes our winery dogs. We decided to name this wine after our late, beloved winery dog Suky, who passed last September. After many name interations, Alexis (Dan & Ann Marie’s daughter), came up with the name Suky’s Syrah and it just stuck! Suky lived a long 14 years, loved to roam the Vineyard and occassionally even ate the grapes when we weren’t looking! He was also a Friday afternoon fixture in the Tasting Room, enjoying his visits with wine tasters & begging for wine crackers.

We thought it only fittting to release our Suky’s Syrah Blend the night before Wine & Wages and honor his life and the joy he brought us, by making a donation for each bottle sold to the Tri Valley Humane Society.
